About the role

Part-time housekeeper position at a small, unique, creative, and community-oriented boutique inn with 31 rooms and 6 Japanese-style pods. The role involves cleaning rooms on two levels, requiring stair climbing, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards
• Lift and carry items weighing 35-45 pounds or more
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with varying daily workloads
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Adhere to hotel cleaning protocols and attention to detail

Requirements

• Dependable, responsible, and hard-working with a friendly attitude
• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience
• Ability to work four or five days a week, approximately 10:30 AM to 2 PM (or longer, as needed)
• Flexibility with hours and days due to varying workloads
• Must have transportation or live close to the inn
• Must dress in appropriate cleaning attire (no tank tops, shorts, spandex, or skinny jeans)
• Punctuality and ability to show up on time
• Background check required for eligible employees

Pay

$18.00 per hour

Schedule

• Part-time, approximately 11 AM to 3 PM (or longer, as needed)
• Four or five days per week, with flexibility due to varying workloads
