Housekeeper

About the role

The role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Memory Care unit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents.
• Implement daily care routines and activities that promote resident well-being.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans.
• Document resident progress and communicate effectively with family members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., gerontology, social work).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Experience working with individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of memory care best practices and standards of care.
