Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
- Responsible for general cleaning and trash removal of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas
- Responsible for cleaning and preparing vacant units for move-in
- Responsible for cleaning and upkeep daily of community’s offices, amenities, etc.
- Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
- Report any observed violations of community rules and regulations to the Community Manager
- Utilize property resources, equipment and supplies economically
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities requested by Community Manager
Customer & Resident Relations
- Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness
- Projects a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition
- Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, step stools and the like, move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces, remain in a stationary position, either standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Communicate with others to exchange information, repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- The employee is frequently required to lift and place objects up to 25 lbs., be able to work overtime, weekends, and night hours (emergencies)
- Be exposed to hazardous chemicals
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry
- Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions
- Basic computer skills required
- Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
Salary Range
Salary Range: $21.50 per hour to $22.28 per hour
