Housekeeper
FLSA Status: Part-time
About the role
Housekeeper at each clinic is responsible for ensuring the building/site is clean, including using proper chemicals provided to disinfect all exam tables, chairs, and other furniture in medical areas. The Custodian will perform daily cleaning tasks such as mopping floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, thoroughly cleaning restrooms, and emptying waste and trash. Regular maintenance of office furniture, windows, and general cleaning, including waxing and buffing, ensures buildings remain clean and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all OSHA, JCAHO, and Arcare cleaning guidelines and protocols.
- Maintain a daily/monthly checklist of cleaning activities.
- Report damages or broken equipment/supplies to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Requirements
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Two or more years of custodial work in a medical facility preferred.
