Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests.
- Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas.
- Take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to service standards.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies.
- Carefully clean up spills and notify managers of necessary maintenance requests.
- Collect and dispose of trash.
- Clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces.
- Cater to all housekeeping requests efficiently and create genuine relationships with guests.
- Perform other functions as required, such as greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
- Must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening for marijuana and other controlled substances.
- Must be able to work around 12 hours per day and frequently lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and frequently bend, squat, and reach.
- Must be able to live and work on board a vessel for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use stairs frequently.
