Housekeeper and Companion Caregiver

Visiting Angels of Richardson is hiring a Housekeeper and Companion Caregiver for clients in the Richardson/Carrollton/Dallas/Plano/Addison/Garland area.

Responsibilities

• Manage light housekeeping
• Encourage clients to meet their exercise and fitness goals
• Promptly remind clients to take their prescription medications
• Help clients with shopping and grocery management
• Plan and prepare meals with clients (based on client ability)
• Assist clients with mobility and ambulation
• Act quickly in case of medical emergencies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years professional caregiving experience
• Excellent time-management skills
• Reliable transportation for client visits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
• A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards

Qualifications
