About the Role
Visiting Angels of Tupelo is hiring a Housekeeper and Companion Caregiver for clients in Northeast Mississippi areas such as Holly Springs, Red Banks, Water Valley, Taylor, Thaxton, and more.
Responsibilities
- Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
- Managing light housekeeping
- Encouraging clients to meet their exercise and fitness goals
- Prompting clients to take their prescription medications at the right times
- Helping clients with shopping and putting away groceries
- Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients
- Assisting clients with mobility and ambulation
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
- A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship
- Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
