Housekeeper - 2nd Shift

About the role
Responsible for day-to-day housekeeping tasks under the supervision of a 3-person Manager/Foreperson team. This role is primarily assigned to our brand new, state-of-the-art Athletic Fieldhouse and includes participation in special event set-up, running, and breakdown.
Schedule
3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Midnight) with a 30-minute lunch, Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday (two positions available). A $1 shift differential is paid on top of your hourly wage for all work between 6 PM and 6 AM.
Responsibilities
- Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout assigned areas of the property.
- Uses cleaning cart to transport supplies.
- Cleans and disinfects bathrooms, kitchens, and dining areas.
- Wipes and dusts surfaces; cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions.
- Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.
- Mops and cleans hard surface flooring.
- Uses mechanical cleaning machines (floor cleaners, steam cleaners, carpet cleaners) for deep cleaning.
- Picks up and empties trash containers.
- Aids in setup and breakdown of special events.
- Notifies maintenance of equipment issues.
- Assists Facilities and Operations during snow removal.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work environment
- Various indoor spaces: residential dormitories, classrooms, dining hall, function facilities, athletics facilities, and offices.

Physical demands
- Remain standing and walking for 8 hours per day (up to 12 hours seasonally).
- Ability to go up and down flights of steps.
- Lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
- Stoop, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift.
- Operate complex mobile machinery safely.
- Lift and/or move 10 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, and 100+ pounds occasionally without assistance.
- Traverse various areas of the facility, including unpaved areas, dirt paths, and uneven terrain.
- Withstand exposure to inclement weather (rain, snow, sleet, freezing temperatures).
- Normal vision and hearing parameters.
- Reach by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.
Qualifications
- Education sufficient to read, write, and speak as needed for the job.
- Able to successfully complete CHRI, CORI, and SORI checks.
