Household Helpers / Driver Assistant / Mover

Responsibilities

• Help execute shipment plans within the scope of branch operations and United Van Lines.
• Manage workload to maximize efficiency and exceed customer expectations.
• Aid the driver in operating the vehicle and equipment safely.
• Protect customer products and facilities.
• Identify and report significant customer service problems to the driver for resolution.
• Maintain accurate order status for accountability.
• Handle freight and complete necessary paperwork.
• Assist the driver as needed.

Requirements

• Experience working in the household moving industry preferred, but willing to train on the job.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Possess positive communication skills.
• Be organized and able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Have a proven track record of working in a team environment and autonomously.
