Responsibilities

• Assume administrative responsibility for managing all department service functions during assigned shift.
• Conduct frequent rounds throughout the facility to monitor care delivery, oversee service quality, and direct patient care activities as needed.
• Directly supervise, support, and communicate with all staff house-wide.
• Extend administrative scope and responsibility to all hospital services in the absence of Hospital Administrative staff.
• Ensure efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospital.
• Perform direct patient care, as needed, within scope of practice and competence.
• Deploy and orient temporary agency personnel in compliance with hospital policy.
• Assist medical staff with scheduling after-hour procedures and calling in stand-by staff.
• Enhance the patient/family experience through supportive interactions and explanations of hospital policies.

Requirements

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• ACLS certificate obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
• One (1) year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $45.42 to $55.13 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Schedule

Full Time, Evening Shift.
