House Supervisor (RN)

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. House Supervisors (RN) play a central role in ensuring compassionate, excellent treatment and leadership throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage resources during assigned shift
• Create a healthy work atmosphere promoting both team and individual growth
• Maintain a safe and compliant workplace environment
• Serve as a clinical resource to staff and patients/families
• Work cooperatively with ancillary interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs and improve operations

Requirements

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS and ACLS required at hire

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of critical care/progressive clinical care experience
• Prior clinical management experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Experience with clinical ladder programs and certifications (e.g., PCCN, CCRN)
