House Supervisor (RN)

About the Role

Seeking passionate, patient-centric, and goal-oriented team members to join our compassionate behavioral health team. We specialize in crisis stabilization, inpatient care, and outpatient treatment for acute mental health and substance use disorders. Our mission is to decrease suicide rates, reduce addiction-related deaths, improve community life expectancy, and enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the entire hospital operation during non-administration hours.
• Maintains schedules and provides coaching and education as needed.
• Aids the DON in conducting department meetings.
• Displays thorough nursing knowledge, including assessments, treatment planning, discharge and admission procedures, medication distribution, and medical care.
• Delivers quality nursing care to ensure treatment plan goals are met.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
• CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and before patient contact.
• May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients preferred.
• Experience in patient assessments, family motivation, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
