Key Responsibilities
- Supervise & Operations: Oversee all aspects of residential facility operations during assigned shifts, ensuring staffing adequacy, safety, and compliance.
- Monitor and enforce behavior management plans, program logs, and required documentation.
- Function as the On-Call supervisor, addressing crises and coordinating incident reporting.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new staff to ensure they meet program standards.
- Provide supervision and ongoing feedback to Shift Leaders and Assistant Counselors.
- Model appropriate behavior and professionalism for staff and clients.
- Implement crisis interventions and ensure compliance with Federal and State laws, Medicaid guidelines, and company policies.
- Conduct on-site Licensing Checklists and ensure all operational standards are upheld.
- Maintain regular communication with administration, staff, and external parties, addressing relevant issues promptly.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions, even under stress or challenging circumstances.
- Support the organization during emergencies such as hurricanes, natural disasters, or pandemics.
- Accept and execute other projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Special Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience working with at-risk youth.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS management systems, payroll, and evaluations. Computer literate with proficiency in email, online applications, and documentation systems.
- Other Requirements: Valid applicable state driver’s license, proof of insurance ($10,000/$20,000/$10,000 minimum liability), and a safe driving record (no more than six points on MVR).
- Completion of 40 hours of annual training and successful passing of annual criminal background checks.
- Knowledge of Systemic Approach for Exploited and Traumatized Youth (SAFETY) and behavior management principles.
Compensation And Benefits
- Earn $44,000.00 - 48,000.00 Annually + Phone Stipend + Gas Stipend Competitive Benefits based on experience and qualifications.
