House Coordinator/Transfer Center - Variable Shifts (PT)

About the role

The House Coordinator provides both direct and indirect supervision for staff across all shifts, ensuring the smooth operation of hospital services through oversight of staffing, resource management, and patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing and resource management to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain continuity of care in the absence of Department Directors or Managers.
• Act independently or collaborate with other leaders to make decisions.
• Occasionally provide direct patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.
• Offer cross-training and dual responsibilities within the Transfer Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program with a BSN within 3 years of hire.
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all required).
• Code Violet training within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required annually).
• Experience in an acute care setting.
• Demonstrated leadership or management skills.
