Full-time position on the PM shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) at $20 per hour.

About the role

The House Attendant supports the housekeeping department by assisting with various tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the hotel. This role exemplifies the hotel’s Culture & Core Values while providing exceptional service to guests and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, regardless of time or workload.
  • Maintain positive guest relations and resolve complaints to high satisfaction.
  • Follow hotel policies for lost and found items, guest/team member accidents, injuries, and emergency situations.
  • Promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts continuously.
  • Support the housekeeping department by:
    • Delivering clean linen bundles to rooms on the daily list.
    • Picking up and removing soiled linen bundles in a timely manner.
    • Transporting soiled bundles to the laundry team throughout the day.
    • Collecting dining ware left in stations by Guest Room Attendants.
    • Stripping rooms when needed.
    • Removing trash around the property.
  • Keep housekeeping stations stocked with products, linens, and cleaning supplies.
  • Assist housekeeping staff with laundry removal and unit cleaning.
  • Organize, maintain, and inventory linens, cleaning supplies, equipment, and amenities.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks.
  • Report maintenance issues or room discrepancies to the appropriate department.
  • Secure and organize all supplies, cleaning materials, and linens to prevent loss or damage.
  • Inspect, plan, and ensure all materials and equipment are ready for service.
  • Maintain knowledge of correct equipment use and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English; fluency in other languages is beneficial.
  • Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and empathy.
  • Outstanding coordination and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to learn and work with hospitality-specific software (POS, PMS, CRM).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, vendors, and team members.
  • Ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to stand and move freely about the property for most of the shift.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform frequent simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand/arm movements, with occasional squeezing and overhead reaching.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces occasionally.
  • Must be able to frequently handle objects and equipment.
  • Must be able to walk outside in various weather conditions (rain, wind, heat).
  • Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work in variable room temperatures.
  • Noise level is usually moderate.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.

Schedule

PM shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM).
