House Attendant (Housekeeping)

About the role

The House Attendant at Great Wolf supports colleagues in creating guest rooms that are well-equipped and welcoming, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and restocks inventory upon arrival
• Assists Room Attendants with tasks such as removing linens and trash
• Cleans guest rooms and makes beds as needed
• Transports dirty linen to laundry and clean linen back to storerooms
• Keeps storerooms clean and organized
• Delivers requested items to guest rooms
• Operates and maintains equipment like trash compactor and cardboard baler
• Picks up and returns previously used guest requests
• Communicates with management for special requests or duties

Requirements

• Flexible scheduling based on business needs
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
• Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Prior experience with cleaning chemicals (desired)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous housekeeping or general cleaning experience (desired)

• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Able to bend, stretch, and twist
• Able to stand for long periods
• Able to climb multiple flights of stairs and walk frequently
• Able to work with chemicals according to directions
