About the role

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Houseperson to clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring, and work areas. This role supports room attendants with supplies and linens while ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities

• Strip rooms by removing bed linens, terry, and trash
• Clean hallways, corridors, elevators, stairways, ice rooms, trash areas, and linen closets
• Vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
• Dust fixtures, frames, and equipment
• Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas
• Stock and deliver supplies
• Replace light bulbs
• Follow material safety data sheets when using chemicals
• Report to work on time for scheduled shifts in uniform
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Greet guests warmly and professionally
• Perform other related duties as required
