House Attendant

About the role

Vibrant and inviting, the restaurant and bar offers a space that allows for an open, airy atmosphere with a modern framework incorporated with architectural elements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all House Attendant responsibilities and departmental standards are met
• Maintain inventory in the Housekeeping closets; including pick-up and distribution of clean linen, restocking of paper supplies and amenities
• Maintains exit stairwells and guest room corridors – dusting, vacuuming, mopping, etc.
• Conducts Deep Cleaning Tasks as assigned
• Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items ie: cribs, cots, extra towels etc.
• Collects dirty linen, garbage and recyclables from Room Attendants’ carts and closets
• Follows departmental policies and procedures
• Reports necessary maintenance items
• Follows all health, safety and sanitation policies
• Consistently offers professional, friendly and engaging service
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision

Physical Aspects of Position

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
