About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness. They also manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, train staff, and handle various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure high-quality service and cleanliness
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards for safety, security, and profitability
• Meet and exceed targets set for the shift
• Support the assigned departments in achieving their goals
• Manage crew and handle inventory management
• Perform daily maintenance and cleanliness checks
• Ensure exceptional customer service
• Handle food safety and quality production
• Manage scheduling and staff assignments
• Train new and existing staff members

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility with a willingness to adapt to a demanding schedule
• Age 18 or older to qualify as a manager
