Hotel Security Guard

About the Role

The safety and security of our guests is our top priority at LEGOLAND New York Resort. Our Public Safety team offers many roles including EMT’s, Park Rangers, and Hotel Security. Each one overseeing a different facet of our operation and helping to ensure the safety of our team and guests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel safety and security, reporting any incidents to the Public Safety Management.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and Model Citizens within the LEGOLAND New York Resort Hotel.
• Assist and conduct investigations and complete written reports.
• Record observations, information, occurrences, and participate in surveillance activities, interviewing witnesses and obtaining photographs.
• Monitor access control and conduct security screenings of guests and Model Citizens.
• Dispatch and respond to radio calls.
• Secure facilities, equipment, and other assets.
• Execute all opening, operating and closing procedures, as instructed by Public Safety Management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have an updated NYS guard license.
• Must currently have Full-Time, Fully Flexible Availability or be able to open up availability to be Full-Time, Fully-Flexible.
• Ability to work nights/overnights/weekends/holidays all year.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to make a child’s day memorable.
• Work as part of a team.
• Dependable and responsible.
• Ability to work outdoors in any weather condition.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time, and long distances.
• Flexible availability around park hours (peak and non-peak times).

Pay

Pay Range USD $24.39/Hr.
