Hotel Room Attendant - Hampton Inn Windsor
About the role
The Hampton Inn Windsor is seeking Room Attendants to join their team. Located off I-91, the Hampton Inn offers comfortable guest rooms and is conveniently situated near Bradley International Airport with a free shuttle. Guests can visit attractions such as the New England Air Museum, Six Flags New England, and the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service.
- This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.
- Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
- Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
- Working typical shifts (8AM-5PM) that include weekends (needed) and holidays when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Able to work on feet for extended periods.
- Navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
- An engaging personality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
