About the role
The Hotel Revenue Manager is responsible for optimizing room revenue and overall profitability through revenue management and pricing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement revenue management and pricing strategies.
- Analyze booking patterns, market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to adjust rates and inventory.
- Maintain and update pricing and availability across all distribution channels.
- Maintain records and track key performance indicators for profitability (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy rate, GOPPAR, TRevPAR, etc.).
- Analyze competitors' market positioning, brand reputation, and unique selling propositions to understand strengths and weaknesses.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align strategies and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports, forecasts, and budget analyses to senior management.
- Monitor and manage the hotel's pricing integrity and rate parity across all platforms.
- Utilize revenue management systems, property management systems, and channel managers to inform strategic decisions.
- Evaluate group and transient business to ensure optimal mix and pricing strategies.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for ancillary revenue (ie packages, upgrades, upsells).

- Utilizes technology to maximize business opportunities.

Physical Requirements
- Position sedentary with primarily sitting/lifting maximum of 10 pounds.
- Physical factors include constant use of hearing, smell; frequent standing, walking, sitting, use of near/midrange/far vision, depth perception, color/field of vision, typing; occasional carrying/lifting and bending.
- Working conditions include occasional exposure to noise and vibration. Potential hazards include constant computer use.
Requirements
- Education: Associate's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or a related field required or three years of experience in financial analysis may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience: Three years of experience hotel revenue management or a similar analytical role.
- Certification/License: Will be required to have a Criminal background investigation done under the rules of the National Indian Gaming Commission.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must have strong financial and analytical skills.
- Must have strong understanding of casino/hospitality and tourism industries.
- Must have strong presentation skills both verbal and written.
- Must have a thorough understanding of property management and sales software programs.
- Must be able to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with supervisory personnel, coworkers, subordinates and the general public.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, in a diverse range of audiences and settings.
- Must have organizational skills and be able to plan, prioritize and manage work load to meet goals in a timely manner.
- Native American preferred.
Salary
$28.20 per hour
