Hotel & Rest Assistant
Overview
Assist in all positions in hotel and restaurant to include Restaurant, Hotel Front Desk, and Housekeeping. Provide backup support for all aspects of the Hotel operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Restaurant (30%): Clear/clean tables; sweep/mop floors; inventory food items; food server; perform duties of cashier.
- Hotel Front Desk (20%): Greet hotel guests; answer phone; clean restaurant bathrooms, dining room floors; check grounds for safety, cleanliness, and appearance.
- Housekeeping (50%): Clean rooms (make beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust); wash windows; sweep/vacuum common areas; wash & fold laundry; shampoo carpets.
- Follows established procedures and performs routine duties. Works closely with other personnel to provide friendly and consistent public and client views of our company. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Assist in offloading of incoming freight.
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma required; some college preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be able to read, understand, and process business communications.
- Must possess a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team.
- Must possess self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under minimum supervision.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail.
- Ability to be on foot most of the day and expect a minimum of 10K steps, to include multiple trips up and down stairs.

Work Environment
General office environment. Work is performed primarily indoors in a hotel/restaurant, heated/freezer environment. Some exposure to weather conditions while working outside of the hotel/restaurant when performing other tasks on the facility.
