Hotel Maintenance Engineer III
About the Role
We’re currently seeking an affable, reliable Engineer to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. Our Engineers protect and maintain the hotel, its property, and surrounding grounds, attending to daily maintenance and repairs, from HVAC problem-solving to drywall repair. They are the unsung superheroes who ensure there is rarely, if ever, a day that needs saving. When engaging with guests, it’s all about being accommodating, patient, and warm while resolving issues quickly and seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and drywall work.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and the property.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a well-functioning hotel environment.
- Engage with guests in a warm and accommodating manner to resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in repairs/maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
- Ability to work as a team player, be detail-oriented, and a hard worker.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree is a plus.
Qualifications
- Passionate about hospitality and engineering.
- Experience in engineering or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and fast-thinking skills.
Pay
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour
