Hotel Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities and equipment
• Ensure that all guest rooms and common areas are clean and in good condition
• Respond to guest requests and resolve issues promptly
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance of systems
• Work closely with other departments such as housekeeping, engineering, and front desk to maintain a seamless operation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or related field
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and fix problems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation systems
• Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
