Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Essential Duties

• Responds to all building-related safety concerns.
• Supports hotel/lodge departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
• Deals with Guest related concerns.
• Maintains Guest rooms, public space, and back of the hotel areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel.
• Cleans and maintains pool and spa.
• Operates forklifts, scissor lifts, tractor, dollies and other basic loading and unloading equipment as required.
• Drives vehicles to transport materials such as furniture, supplies or equipment as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required Education: HS Diploma
• Work Experience: Three (3) years of resort or hotel maintenance experience
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques; skill in applying building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques; ability to use power hand tools and equipment.
• Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements: Pool/Spa Certification (CPO)
