HOTEL MAINTENANCE

About the role

Town Pump Hotel Group is seeking motivated and outgoing Hotel Maintenance Personnel who embody our mission statement: "Genuine Hospitality from genuine people committed to providing comfort and service." Town Pump is a rapidly expanding company with numerous career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, upkeep, and preventative maintenance of grounds, building facilities, and guest rooms to meet Town Pump and brand operational standards.
• Ensure the best possible experience for each guest, adhering to Town Pump’s operating guidelines.
• Display a high degree of work ethic and pride in workmanship.
• Complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.
• Report all known issues to services, equipment, and property, and ensure work orders are in place.
• Follow Town Pump’s grooming and appearance guidelines, wear uniform and nametag always while on shift, and comply with the confidentiality of guest and company information.
• Install small maintenance items as needed for repair under the direction of the supervisor, complete tasks, and assignments on daily and preventative maintenance checklist.
• Ensure building and grounds are clean and clear by removing trash, debris, and weather-related hazards such as snow, ice, and other debris.
• Update maintenance records on equipment, tools, and mechanical systems on property, ensuring all equipment, tools, and inventory stock is secure.
• Practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines, including Bloodborne Pathogens.
• Complete other duties as needed, such as cross-training with the front desk and housekeeping.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include general knowledge of building construction, repair, maintenance, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Schedule

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
