Hotel Laundry Attendant

Job Summary

Responsible for cleaning towels, linens, and bedding.

Job Duties

• Wash, dry, and fold towels, linens, and bedding.
• Understand laundry room operations such as washers, dryers, folding, and chemicals.
• Clean and maintain laundry room areas while keeping up with standards set by the Supervisor and Manager.
• Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.
• Assist guests with all questions and reasonable requests.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Prior hotel laundry experience preferred.
• No theft or stealing convictions.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, as well as obtain and maintain a gaming license.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to stand for extended periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• The employee occasionally is required to sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
