Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor - Swing

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures high standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained across all hotel guest rooms, corridors, and public areas. This role oversees housekeeping team members, ensures adherence to brand and company standards, and supports efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the scheduling of housekeeping work assignments and oversees their completion.
• Ensures the safety and security of employees and customers.
• Manages processes and programs to efficiently control and reduce loss-time injuries.
• Reviews staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment levels.
• Delegates duties and assigns responsibilities.
• Develops staff through interviews and evaluations, and maintains employee files.
• Knowledge of applicable OSHA standards for safety, chemicals, bloodborne pathogens, and operation of cleaning equipment.
• Reviews housekeeping activities with the Executive Housekeeping Manager.
• Meets with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two to five years’ experience in a hospital, hotel, or public facility in janitorial or executive housekeeping, with a 2-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to deliver a service level that creates a positive, memorable guest experience and encourages repeat visits.
• Commitment to going above and beyond in accomplishing position responsibilities to support organizational goals.
• Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork.
