Duties and Responsibilities: Projects a positive imageGreets all guests and Team MembersActively coaches, mentors and develops team membersGenerates daily assignments for Team MembersPerforms property and guestroom inspections, documenting as requiredChecks and report room statuses as neededInventories and orders departmental suppliesFacilitates hotel lost-and-foundCreates work schedulesAdministers payrollActs as “Manager on duty” representing the hotel in resolving guest conflictKeeps staff informed of pertinent informationLiaises with other departments as operational issues ariseEnsures that an adequate number of vacant/clean/inspected rooms are available throughout the dayGenerates shift reports recording key hotel statistics and incidentsLimits the number of accidents and injuries by promoting job safetyGrants PTO and conducts Team Member evaluationsOther duties & responsibilities as assigned Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying) Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or olderHigh School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employmentAssociate’s Degree in Related field– requiredOR Two (2) years’ Supervisory experience– requiredOR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality Department- requiredOR Two (2) years’ experience in the hiring position’s Department– requiredTwo (2) years of experience in Hotel Housekeeping– preferredMust successfully pass job interview, including a guest service auditionMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbsGood writing and verbal communication skills required (skills test may be administered)Must be able to stand and walk for entire shiftMust be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environmentMust be able to operate standard office equipment – phones, computers, etc. Must be in good physical condition and able to pass a physical fitness testWilling to travel and participate in training as recommended or requiredWilling and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidaysMust have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position Base Pay Compensation:$18.45 - $25.00 per hour, with starting pay based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and skills.
