Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a focus on personal recognition
• Review arrival lists daily and assist in preparing welcome amenities
• Escort VIPs to their rooms and check them in prior to arrival
• Answer the telephone within three rings with a professional and friendly demeanor
• Manage issued bank, including counting at the beginning and end of shift, ensuring proper cash handling procedures, and reporting discrepancies
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
• Assist with lobby activation as needed
• Handle guest personally identifiable information (PII) with proper procedures
• Follow check-in and check-out checklists, including retrieving necessary identification and payment
• Attend promptly to guest needs and inquiries
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year in front desk operations
• In-depth knowledge of hotel front desk operations
• Minimum of high school education

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Excellent time management skills

Pay

Compensation range: $21–$22 per hour.
