Responsibilities
- Supervises front desk team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations, focusing on guest satisfaction and superior feedback.
- Responds professionally and courteously to guests, providing accurate and timely information and services.
- Processes hotel charges accurately, verifies billing instructions, and ensures all necessary supporting documents are attached for direct settlements.
- Registers and assigns rooms to guests, issues room keys, computes bills, and collects payment for stays.
- Answers guest inquiries and resolves issues, complaints, and problems efficiently to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Uses PBX to handle incoming calls, set wake-up calls, and manage Do Not Disturb settings.
- Ensures guest and coworker safety by following policies and reporting suspicious activity to security.
- Communicates with other departments using radio equipment as needed.
- Schedules and pays front desk team members, including handling shift paperwork and cashier bank responsibilities.
- Allocates rooms based on guest preferences and special requests.
- Assists with reservations and cancellations as requested by guests.
- Models exemplary behavior, shares expertise, and trains the front desk team to maintain high standards.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Valid license from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
- Valid driver’s license for shuttle requirements.
- Able to read, write, and type at a speed of 40+ words per minute.
- Basic computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to multitask and work in a standing position for extended periods.
- Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperation, and minimal supervision required.
- Physical abilities to grasp, bend, stoop, push/pull up to 40 pounds.
- Punctual and reliable attendance.
- Honesty and integrity.
- Professional appearance and attire.
