Hotel Bartender

About the Role

As a busy restaurant, we need a bartender with a positive customer service mindset who can ensure patrons have a wonderful time at the bar. Responsibilities

• Mix and deliver drinks to customers, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties of wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
• Responsible for inventory, ordering, and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer
• Maintain an inventory of glassware and promptly communicate any shortages to management
• Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations
• Ensure that all customer checks and tabs are paid, record daily sales totals, and enter them into the point of sale system
• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
• Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Impeccable time management and organizational skills
• Previous experience working in food service is preferred
