About the role
The Mecklen Hotel is seeking an experienced assistant general manager to join our team. This role involves working closely with the general manager to manage daily operations and staff. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in hospitality management and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations and ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes
- Oversee housekeeping and maintenance teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
- Work with the general manager to develop and implement strategies for improving guest services and overall hotel performance
- Train and mentor staff members to ensure they meet the hotel's standards of excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in food and beverage operations is preferred

Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
