Host Responsibilities

• Taking messages/reservations and maintaining an accurate waitlist.
• Welcoming guests and bidding them farewell.
• Greeting guests in a friendly and upbeat manner.
• Communicating effectively with all guests.
• Reporting problems to management immediately.
• Cooking seating arrangements to provide quick and courteous service.
• Bussing tables as needed to expedite seating of waiting guests.
• Anticipating needs of special parties.

Host Qualifications

• At least one year of experience with customer service and/or hosting.
• Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees, and third parties.
• Frequent use of reading, writing, and basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physical abilities including carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, handling objects, standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Must be able to stay in one location for long periods and safely move about the facility.
