Host/Server Assistant

About the role

Pack's Tavern, a busy, family-owned restaurant in downtown Asheville, is seeking a part-time Host to join their team. The primary role involves hosting, but there may also be occasional Server Assistant shifts during peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage the waitlist
• Answer basic questions about the menu and the restaurant
• Help seat guests quickly and efficiently
• When filling in as a Server Assistant, run food and drinks to tables, clear and reset tables, and support servers to keep service running smoothly

Requirements

• Friendly and welcoming personality
• Comfortable staying organized during busy shifts
• Comfortable on your feet for the entire shift
• Strong team player and communicator
