Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain an organized host stand and uphold the visual standards of the entry area
- Communicate effectively with the service team to support pacing and guest experience
- Escort guests to tables and provide menus, highlighting any notable features or offerings
- Answer phone calls, assist with inquiries, and provide accurate information about the restaurant
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues with grace and efficiency
- Uphold all safety, sanitation, and service standards
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a host, guest services, or front-of-house role (upscale or high-volume preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a polished, professional presence
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Warm, guest-focused demeanor with a genuine passion for hospitality
- Familiarity with reservation platforms (Resy, OpenTable, or similar) is a plus
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must have weekend brunch availability.
