Host/Hostess - Lightburn's

About the role

Stonewall Resort is a unique lakeside destination offering vacations, meetings, weddings, reunions, and romantic getaways. Located moments away from the world but a world away from it all, the resort features a rustic yet elegant Adirondack-style lodge and a spectacular collection of cottages.

Responsibilities

• Greets each guest as they arrive to the restaurant.
• Serves as the first and last point of contact for guests.
• Ensures total guest satisfaction through effective communication and anticipating guest requirements.
• Supports the service team by delivering memorable hospitality.
• Maintains uniform and grooming standards as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Opens and closes the restaurant according to posted hours.
• Visits all tables to ensure proper service and meets or exceeds guest expectations.
• Keeps the greeter stand neat and organized.
• Understands and utilizes various forms and procedures related to the hostess stand.
• Supports other job classifications as determined by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of customer service experience.

Skills

• Quick thinking and engaging attitude.
• Effective communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule.
