HOST/HOSTESS (FULL TIME)

About the role

We are hiring immediate full-time HOST/HOSTESS positions at the Capital One Lounge, located at 5757 Wayne Newton Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89119. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full-time with varying days and hours, which will be discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and warmly greet and direct guests to their tables based on availability or desired seating arrangements.
• Create an enjoyable dining experience and maintain a safe, clean, and neat environment for guests and other associates.
• Show exceptional communication skills and maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
• Supervise food-service associates to ensure proper customer service, food handling, and sanitation procedures are followed.
• Train new food-service team members and assist with closing the assigned dining room, ensuring side work and station setup is completed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency safety procedures and assist in evacuating guests to safety in case of fire or other emergencies.
• Assist with service, including occasional bussing and food service, while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines as needed.
• Work with staff from other departments to perform job duties and during special events or functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. No specific education or certifications are required.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and a positive attitude are essential.

Pay

$19.00 per hour to $21.00 per hour.
