Host/Hostess - Curveball Kitchen

As a Host/Hostess, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative work environment that encourages growth and fosters success.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests according to standards.
• Keep track of waiting list and open tables.
• Maintain work areas clean and organized.
• Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
• Aid Servers by setting and clearing tables, replenishing water and serving beverages.
• Answer the phones and take reservations.
• Clean and sanitize menus.
• Maintain cleanliness of host stand by wiping counters, organizing items.
• Open and close rooms as assigned.
• Receive and record reservations.
• Set up food server stations; change according to business flow.
• Calculate and issue change for "to go" orders.
• Attend required meetings.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training.
• Organize "to go" orders by placing the order and delivering to guest.
• Place daily specials in menus; remove specials at assigned time.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• Previous customer facing experience in restaurant or retail operation.
• Good communication skills; Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Computer proficiency to use the resort’s point of sale and reservations system.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay

$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
