About the role

Ensure that guests are given a warm welcome by Team OMB. Welcome guests upon arrival
Maintain a positive and friendly attitude to create a welcoming atmosphere
Manage the seating chart to ensure an efficient flow of guests and optimal table turnover
Keep track of guest wait list and assign tables as they become open
Communicate wait times and delays to guests
Assist guests with takeout orders, beer-to-go orders, and merchandise orders
Answer phone calls and inquiries regarding hours and service
Record and manage reservations for larger groups to maximize seating capacity
Communicate effectively with management, culinary team, and server to ensure a smooth dining experience
Provide exceptional customer service
Assist guests with special requests or accommodations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand, menus, and dining area
Familiarize yourself with OMB’s menu and make recommendations
Promote ongoing promotions, events, or loyalty programs to guests

Qualifications

• Preferred service experience

• Ability to handle stressful situations with composure
• Organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Basic computer skills
