Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for being one of the first points of contact for members while also greeting guests, answering incoming calls, and creating reservations for the Club and other food and beverage outlets.
- Demonstrate a keen eye for detail while maintaining an organized, clean, and effective workstation.
- Promote positive moments for members and guests from time of arrival through time of departure.
- Answer questions regarding menu options/specials, upcoming events, hours of operation and amenity availability/pricing.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment.
- Support FOH team when needed by clearing tables for a streamlined seating experience.
- Address guest related concerns in real-time and take action that results in a positive resolution.
- Develop relationships with members and guests while also communicating notable conversations to management.
- Promote a positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional.
- Perform administrative tasks such as properly keeping all paperwork logged and filed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Long periods of sitting or standing.
- Fast paced movements occasionally required to go from one part of the club to others.
- Must be able to understand and communicate clearly with guests, members, and coworkers.
- Must be able to reach and handle the computer, keyboard, and desktop items.
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospitality setting, preferably in a fine dining or upscale environment. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Must be able to work flexible hours and be available on weekends and holidays.
