About the role

The Host provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience by welcoming and greeting guests upon arrival. They manage the efficient and timely seating of guests, assist with to-go orders, and answer the telephone.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival and provide exceptional service.
• Manage the efficient and timely seating of guests to tables that best suit their needs.
• Assist with to-go orders and answer the telephone.
• Communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel.
• Handle money, operate a point-of-sale system, and perform basic math tasks.
• Stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) and safely lift trays weighing 20–30 pounds.
• Multitask, solve problems, and recommend solutions to restaurant challenges.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must pass the federally mandated E-Verify process.
• Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
• Self-disciplined, take initiative, and possess leadership skills.
• Outgoing, pleasant, and polite with a neat and clean appearance.

Pay
