To succeed as a host at Olive Garden, you should have:

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- An understanding of basic restaurant operations and food service
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
As a host at Olive Garden, you will need to:
- Create a welcoming and safe environment for guests
- Sanitize and disinfect various guest and team member touch points
- Guide guests to their tables
- Present clean menus to guests
- Offer suggestions to enhance guests' dining experiences
- Genuinely thank guests for their visits and invite them to return
