To succeed as a host at Olive Garden, you should have:

• A positive attitude and a desire to make others feel welcome
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• An understanding of basic restaurant operations and food service
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

As a host at Olive Garden, you will need to:

• Create a welcoming and safe environment for guests
• Sanitize and disinfect various guest and team member touch points
• Guide guests to their tables
• Present clean menus to guests
• Offer suggestions to enhance guests' dining experiences
• Genuinely thank guests for their visits and invite them to return
