Responsibilities
- Greet guests, maintain the wait list, and manage reservations
- Assist other aspects of FOH during service when necessary
- Exemplify core values, connect with guests professionally, ensuring excellent service
Duties And Responsibilities
- Arrive each day with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and readiness for the shift
- Know and use service guidelines outlined in the service manual
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Tock and any other booking systems
- Maintain knowledge of reservation policies and procedures, and kitchen and restaurant flow timings
- Cultivate fluency in waitlist, policy, and procedure verbiage, and voicemail fluency
- Report all guest complaints to management immediately, following five steps for handling complaints
- Handle gift certificate transactions, fill out documentation, and present to guests
- Build knowledge of food and beverage items and preparation across all active spaces
- Understand and adhere to service standards and style as outlined in the Employee Manual
- Assist service through food and beverage running, watering, and table flipping
- Stay updated on Slack, particularly in the Announcement Board, Pre-Shift, and Product Updates channels
- Respond promptly to Slack communications, aiming for a minimum response before the next shift
- Treat all areas of the restaurant with respect, cleaning and resetting as needed
- Help departments as required, asking for help when needed
- Get a shift covered if unable to report to a scheduled shift (except for sick reasons), contacting supervisor for problem-solving if necessary
- Act professionally and represent Gin & Luck gracefully, whether in-house, traveling, or at another establishment
- Train new hires, guide them through training trails, answer questions, provide workflow advice, and teach expectations, steps of service, and standard operating procedures

Compensation And Benefits
- $21/hr plus a point percentage of the full house tip pool, based on hours worked per shift
