Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt, efficient, and friendly greeting and seating of guests.
• Coordinate the organization, traffic flow, and cleanliness of the dining room.
• Aid in the training and development of new team members.
• Facilitate To-Go orders via Phone or Online Ordering and execute them in a timely manner.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions for all sales during the work shift.
• Maintain proper reservations, telephone, waiting list, and take-out procedures.
• Ensure a professional image and adhere to proper uniform standards.
• Monitor and enforce responsible serving and sale of alcohol in compliance with licensing authorities, Serve Safe Alcohol training, and Boston’s Pizza guidelines.
• Report any concerns to the Manager immediately.
• Engage in frequent guest contact and high visibility in the dining room.
• Attend to and serve guests in accordance with high standards per Boston’s expectations.
• Identify and involve managers in addressing negative guest experiences.
• Promote a smooth, even flow of the dining room.
• Thank every guest for their patronage in a sincere manner.
• Maintain a high level of food and beverage knowledge and ensure all menu items are prepared according to Boston’s standards.
• Use standard recipes and methods to ensure consistency and efficiency for all menu items.
• Stay informed about and help implement ongoing and upcoming promotions.
• Ensure cleanliness of the inside and outside of the restaurant.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Follow proper checklists and cleaning schedules to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
