Responsibilities
- Ensure prompt, efficient, and friendly greeting and seating of guests.
- Coordinate the organization, traffic flow, and cleanliness of the dining room.
- Aid in the training and development of new team members.
- Facilitate To-Go orders via Phone or Online Ordering and execute them in a timely manner.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions for all guest transactions.
- Maintain reservations, telephone, waiting list, and take-out procedures.
- Maintain a professional image and adhere to proper uniform standards.
- Monitor and serve alcohol in compliance with licensing authorities, Serve Safe Alcohol training, and Boston’s Pizza guidelines.
- Report any concerns to the Manager immediately.
- Frequent guest contact and high visibility in the dining room.
- Attend to and serve guests in accordance with high standards per Boston’s expectations.
- Involving a manager immediately when a negative guest experience is identified.
- Promote a smooth, even flow of the dining room.
- Thank every guest for their patronage in a sincere manner.
- Maintain a high level of food and beverage knowledge.
- Ensure all menu items are prepared according to Boston’s standards and expectations.
- Use standard recipes and methods for consistency and efficiency.
- Help implement and promote ongoing and upcoming promotions.
- Maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
- Control time and temperature throughout the flow of food.
- Pursue good personal hygiene and prevent cross-contamination.
- Follow proper checklists and cleaning schedules.
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Boston’s menu items and service standards.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with online ordering systems.
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
