About the role

SHARE! High School Exchange Program is seeking caring individuals and families to host international exchange students for a semester or a full school year.

Responsibilities

• Experience the world without leaving home by opening your home to a high school exchange student.
• Host a student who is 14–18 years old and comes from countries including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico, and many others.
• Be part of a student's journey as they experience American family life, attend their local high school, and become a true member of your family.
• Share your own culture and traditions with the student.

Requirements

• Have a caring heart.
• Have a stable home.
• Be willing to welcome a student into your family.

Qualifications

• Two-parent families (with or without children).
• Single parents.
• Single adults.
• Retired couples.
• Empty nesters.

Skills

• Speaks English.
• Comprehensive medical insurance.
• Spending money for personal expenses.
