About the role

SHARE! High School Exchange Program is seeking caring individuals and families to host international exchange students for a semester or a full school year.

Responsibilities

• Experience the world without leaving home by opening your home to a high school exchange student.
• Host a student aged 14–18 from countries such as France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico, and more.
• Attend your local high school with the exchange student.
• Share your own culture and traditions with the exchange student.

Requirements

• Be a Two-parent family (with or without children), Single parent, Single adult, Retired couple, or Empty nester.
• Have a caring heart, a stable home, and a willingness to welcome an exchange student into your family.

Qualifications

• Every SHARE! student speaks English.
• Has comprehensive medical insurance.
• Has spending money for personal expenses.
• Is carefully screened and selected before arriving in the United States.

Skills

• Caring and welcoming personality.
• Ability to adapt to new cultural experiences.
• Good communication skills.
