Host an International High School Exchange Student (Kingfisher County, OK)

About the role

SHARE! High School Exchange Program is seeking caring individuals and families to host international exchange students for a semester or a full school year.

Responsibilities

• Experience the world without leaving home by hosting an international student.
• Attend your local high school with the exchange student.
• Share your own culture and traditions with the exchange student.
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the exchange student.
• Ensure the exchange student has access to comprehensive medical insurance.
• Offer spending money for personal expenses.

Requirements

• Students are 14–18 years old and come from countries including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico, and many others.
• Every SHARE! student speaks English.
• Students are carefully screened and selected before arriving in the United States.

• Two-parent families (with or without children)
• Single parents
• Single adults
• Retired couples
• Empty nesters
